This series of small boxes is designed to challenge preconceptions while encouraging interaction and discovery. Each piece varies in size, shape and weight. Kinesthetic and visual participation are of equal importance in this work. Each one-of-a-kind box is meant to be opened and explored. They have been constructed using photographic paper, glue, Japanese paper and incorporate various organic substances such as beans, salt, rocks, bones and hair.
